The Turkey trot was a great way to start the day. Everyone ran, except Mitch who is recovering from tendinitis and Joslyn and Laurisa who had to watch the traditional Macy Day Parade.
We decided to save money this year and have our very own Turkey Trot. Wade gave mom a number so she felt like a real contestant. We had a great time running together and it was the most beautiful day. 
Justin helped me make the traditional wheat rolls that the family loves.
The night ended with our traditional black Friday shopping day. This year we changed it up a bit. The malls opened at Midnight this year so we joined the "Midnight Madness" sales. It truly is an adrenaline rush. It was so much fun but exhausting. We got some amazing "steals"! These pictures was taken at 4:00 a.m. after shopping all through the night.
The girls found a place to sit while Mom Whiting and I kept shopping. After shopping instead of sleeping Mom came home and had to get her 5 miles in. She has more endurance than all of us put together!

That picture of Mom with Grandma is priceless! It looks like your the only people at the store! I just love Thanksgiving and family being together. You are so good at creating memories. I would love to eat one of your rolls!! Maybe I could do the turkey trot since it is just a 'trot', right? I doubt it with my very athletic family!
Miss you guys it was sooo much fun. You forgot to add that Grandma went and ran over 5 miles after being up all night on black Friday.
I'm so glad you got such great pictures, it was sooo much fun being with all of you there, and getting to have Justin their too, I love the pictures, they will keep our memories alive forever! I know Grandma Wright will be so excited to have the picture of us together , I want one too, you are a great photopher sorry my spelling is off, thanks for the great time you always make us feel so loved and we still feel guilty about taking your bed! love you and miss you !!!!!

What a fun Thanksgiving! You guys need to give us some tips on how to do Black Friday cause we are pretty much failures at that one :) FUN FUN FUN We love you!
oh my word! too much fun! Love how you and your girlies are so close and do so many fun things together... including crazy shopping trips at all hours of the night! FUN! And your thanksgiving looked like quite the feast with lots of wonderful family there to enjoy it. So great. So many cute pics and traditions!
