Healthy green drink Anyone???

Many of you might be turned off just by the color of this drink but give it a try, it truly is an amazing drink and tastes great. Actually I have gotten to the point that my body craves it. My neighbor Carol shared her green drink smoothie recipe with us. I have tried many different recipes through the years and haven't found one I like as much as this one. It's pineapple juice base makes it very sweet. Wade and I have been having it for breakfast every morning and it gives you energy through out the day! Thank you Carol for sharing your recipe! Here it is-

Carol's Green Smoothie

1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 lg carrot
2 stocks celery
a hand full of spinach
a scoop of protein powder
1/2 cup ice

Put all ingredients in your vitamix blender and blend for a few minutes and then enjoy!!!

Okay, you've convinced me. Do I have to buy a juicer? Which one should I get?

Buy the Vitamix! It is truly amazing! I use it everyday and the motor is so strong it doesn't wear out! It can take whole veggies and fruit and turn them into juice---that way you are getting the fiber from the source. You'll love it! You can make so many things in it! It comes with a video and recipes--you can even make soup!

I've seen this green drink at Lori's, a little scary looking, but I'm sure it tastes great. I used to juice with my juice man and I loved it. This makes me want to get back into it!

thanks for the info. on the pictures that was my plan.
I water the garden every other day, we used all veg. garden mulch when we planted , I think that has really made a difference and the weather has helped, my gardens are ususally dead by June from the heat, its been so dun to see it grow so fast and pleatiful, do you like yellow squash?

This looks good to me! I love anything with spinach. I just made 13 batches of spinach pesto from our spring garden to put in the freezer.

I had so much fun being with you at Women's Conf! Thanks for the laughs, chat and fun! I love how you find nice people everywhere you go. It was fun to meet your friends. I'm glad you had fun with me even though I was soooooooooo sleepy. This time of year is a killer! LOVE you tONS!!
